Contrada Guido is a historic residence that in over 25 years of activity has had many illustrious guests and has been appreciated for being a place dedicated to contemporary art, welcoming in its rooms exhibitions and artists of international renown. Located in the heart of an 18th century village owned by the family that manages it, Contrada Guido is just a few hundred meters from the crystal clear waters of the Ionian Sea and only half an hour’s drive from the beautiful forests of the Sila. Not only: at 20 minutes by car you can visit the Marca Museum and the Biodiversity Park of Catanzaro, two real and little known excellences of national contemporary art. Suffice it to say that in the Biodiversity Park is located one of the largest collections of contemporary outdoor artworks in Europe that contains works by Wim Delvoye, Marc Quinn, Stephan Balkenhol, Antony Gormley, Jan Fabre, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Mauro Staccioli, Daniel Buren, Tony Cragg, Mimmo Paladino and Denis Oppenheim.
The other strong point of Contrada Guido is nature: the garden of ten thousand square meters, the swimming pool surrounded by a large lawn, dozens of plants in constant bloom, the soccer field la in grass, beach with lido at 2 km, are a perfect setting for a romantic weekend, for a holiday with family or friends. Contrada Guido is the ideal place for those who love nature and want to spend their holidays away from the confusion, surrounded by a familiar, friendly and discreet atmosphere.

From the A3 “Salerno Reggio Calabria Highway” take Lamezia Terme exit.
Follow the “Superstrada dei due mari” towards Catanzaro and then follow road signs towards Crotone/Taranto. Take “Ss. 106 Jonica” direction Crotone/Taranto. At km 202 of the Ss 106 turn on your right direction see (road sign “località San Vincenzo”): the resort is the first stone-arch gate on your left.

The Contrada Guido farmhouse is a refined location for private events of any kind (weddings, christenings, communions, anniversaries), with its large garden, indoor halls, poolside and gazebo.
